Case Study: How NovaGold Uses Social Media to Augment Their Quarterly Reporting

NovaGold Resources Inc. (NYSE-AMEX, TSX:NG) is a precious metals company in Vancouver, BC that is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in North America.
On July 13, 2011, the company reported their Q2 earnings.  In advance of the event they let investors know that they’d be taking questions online via Twitter, Facebook and StockTwits as well as by phone.
